Booting XP on Mac hardware
--

Those of you who haven't been living under a rock the last couple of months will know that Apple are now using Intel processors to run their boxes. This in turn meant that it should be possible to run Windows XP on a Mac, something that a lot of people wanted to do, even so much that they were willing to pay $13000 to do it. It didn't take long for some enterprising hackers to get Windows XP running, and now Apple have launched official support for this, in the Boot Camp tool. I can see the usage, if you love Mac OS X but still need access to Windows for some corperate applications, a dual boot solution would be a great way to solve this. On the other hand, buying a Mac just to run Windows XP seems a bit of, given the price and the incompatability issues.
