Well, before i went and bought a a new disc controller, i decided to test the discs sans the drivebays, and they worked like a charm. So, since the hotswaping wasn't working anyway i have removed the drive bays, and ordered a CoolerMaster 4 in 3 to store the four drives in. Since there was nothing wrong with the drive i replace ill add that back in to. I am playing with the idea of adding one or two more disc controllers, and moving the drives to one channel each, but i dont know if that is really needed.
