Working on the road a lot, as we do at QPC, ensuring that your data is secure is a vital task. I have been evaluating different encryption solutions that support USB devices, and the one that i have found that i like is TrueCrypt. Its a free open-source disk encryption software for Windows XP/2000/2003 and Linux, that enables us to use encrypted USB memory sticks. Sure, almost every manufacturer out there has their own solution, but this is a free and GPL solution, so it seems better then a vendor specific one.
