After a hard couple of months at work me and Hanna decided to take a long weekend vacation to Copenhagen. We took a train south after work last Thursday and arrived in Malmö at about 20.00. We went to a bar and had a beer waiting for Andreas to finish his band rehearsal. After that we went to Andreas place to sleep. Friday me and Andreas went for a long breakfast at a local café, before he headed of to work. I meet up with Hanna when she finished here class for the day and went shopping. We decided to catch a movie and saw Die Welle, it was good, but having seen the original it didn't really add that much. After the movie we went to dinner, and after that we joined up with Andreas who was dj:ing at his works x-mas party. We danced untill it closed and went exhausted to bed. Saturday we took the train over to Copenhagen. After having checked in at our hotel we took a walk in Thåströms foot steps. We went from Vesterbro via Istedgade down to Sønder Boulevard. After this we had some Smørebrød for lunch. The afternoon was spent shopping at Strøget. As evening feel we went to Tivoli to see their x-mas happenings. One of the main events was getting to buy some homemade Lakrids at one of the stands. After a day of walking we retired to the hotel for some well deserved sleep. Sunday after breakfast we headed of to Christiania to have a look at their x-mas market as well as the different architecture. It was nice even if we both had expected more. After this we did some more shopping (i discovered G-Star Raw, what a nice brand). At about 16.00 we boarded our train back home. All in all it was a nice weekend and we both felt a lot more relaxed. Photos in the gallery shortly.
I want to take this moment as well to apologise for not posting more during the fall, its just been so hectic at work. I promise to post a lot more from this point on.
