Back from London
--

We just arrived back from a nice weekend in London. After arriving on Friday and checking in to the hotel we took the underground to Notting Hill station and went for a walk. We stumbled upon Portabello Market as it was closing. After quite a long walk we ended up having dinner at a pub before heading back to the hotel. Exhusted after a working week we went to bed early.

Saturday was slotted for Camden market, and after a 1,5 hour bus ride (we choose the bus so that we got to see as much of London as possible) we arrived at Camden and walked the High Street up to Camden Lock Market. It was huge and we both enjoyed it a lot. After a day of shopping at the market we went back to the hotel to get some rest before the big night out. The night was supposed to start with dinner, but since it was after 22.00 this proved quite hard. Most pubs had closed their kitchens and we finally ended up at a sushi place. The sushi was great and after that we headed over to Slimelight. We danced half of the night away and took a cab back to the hotel.

Sunday we both were a bit tired, and we missed the hotel breakfast. Instead we had a combination of full breakfast and cream tea just outside of Harrods before going to the Victoria and Albert museum. This was followed up by a visit to Tate Modern even if we settled for just visiting the shop, one museum per day is enough. After this we had dinner and went back to the hotel.

Monday, the last day of the trip, was spent shopping on and around Oxford Street and Picadilly Circus. The Forbidden Planet shop was nice, we just don't have comic book stores of that magnitude in Sweden.

There are photos in the gallery.
