I have always liked the imagery of the Deathwatch and I thought that the Sternguards would be a great unit to represent the Deathwatch in the new chapter. I have decided to model each one using the large amounts of plastic bits that are currently available, together with the Deathwatch shoulder pads and bolters.

it breaks down like this:

• Dark Angel
  Using the robed parts from the Dark Angels Veteran box together with a Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Space Wolf
  Using part from the Grey Hunter box, focusing on the parts without the fell but with pellets. Also using the wolf skin backpack and the mandatory Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Iron Hands
  Using legs and arms from the Iron Hands upgrade kit together with the torso from the Vehicle Sprue and a bionic head, I am trying to get my hands on the one from the new chaplain model, the shoulder pad will come from the Iron Hands kit as well together with Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Black Templar
  Using the tabard and knightly looking helmet from the Black Templar upgrade kit, together with a Black Templar shoulder pad and Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Ultra Marine
  Using the crested helmet from the Sternguard kit together with the Ultra marine shoulder pad and the roman style loin cloth from the Space Marine Commander set, and as always Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Blood Angel / Flesh Tearer
  Using parts from the Death Company box together with Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.
• Salamanders
  Forgeworld Salamander shoulder pad together with the Sternguard Heavy Flamer and a Deathwatch shoulder bad. I am thinking about using a MKVIII torso.
• Raven Guard
  Complete MKVI build with a white beaky helmet. Deathwatch Shoulder pad and a Deathwatch bolter.

One of the other guys will have to bring a special weapon, haven't decided on which one though.

This makes eight members, which would be a maximum if Commander Culln are to Droppod with these guys, if not then ill bring them to a full 10.
