It is nowdays common practice for devious individuals to spam the comments/forums of other websites with links to their own website, to thereby gain a better page rank etc. I have been fighting an uneven battle to keep this site free of such spam, but i must say its been a booring job. Today i installed eCaptcha by new e107 development team member RichGC. It forces the user to do some image validation before excepting the post. Sure, its makes it a bit harder for you ppl to contribute with comments etc (not that we are seeing a lot of those anyway, come on, get posting) but if it keeps the spam of the site then i say its worth it.
