Today all the parts to the new box (apart from the cpu cooler, that i decided to leave out for now) arrived. I built the box (which was a nice experience, the chassi is top notch) in a couple of hours and then setout to install Windows. This was not as simple as i had expected, XP couldn't handle the raid controller without additional drivers, that i needed to supply via a floppy drive (sic). I tried to disabled the raid and install Windows, but it is not possible to clone the source disk onto a second disk, all material is lost when the raid array is built. I will simply have to move the floppy from my old drive and install Windows that way tomorrow.
