Travel Access Point
--

When i visited Germany earlier this summer i realised what a limitation it is when the hotell doesn't have WIFI access but only cable access, since my Nexus One obviously can't use a cable connection. So i decided to get myself a Access Point to use when i travel, for myself and any companions I bring along.

After a bit of research i settled for the La Fonera+, it is small (93.5x25.5x110mm) and it also enables me to use Fonera hotspots when available. It arrived today and size wise it looks really good. I know that there is support for this router using DD-WRT, so if i feel that the default software is lacking in features ill just flash it.
